It's tough for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

This is the team that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed nearly four years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, targeted by the achievement hunters, are what's still available for a team that has accomplished all there is.

That it took as late as Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase above 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over the last half-century.

That comment will be the last rival teams at this tournament should hear.

Over the past five days a belief they will win from any position has grown stronger - this success coming after victory over Pakistan by 107 runs despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.

It was in the semi-finals they exited the prior year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - an encounter Healy missed because of damaged tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the first time at an important competition.

So great is her will, she later said she regretted not playing through the pain.

However although she later admitted those injuries have postponed plans to retire, this World Cup is expected to be her final tournament as skipper in one-day cricket and she is still to achieve a world championship as captain.
